
The range of seaport management services undertaken by Mir Projects & Consultants includes feasibility studies for ports, shipping and transportation, port planning, port management, port operations, container terminal automation and technology, shipping analysis and inter-modal logistics.
A recent project awarded to the consultancy, was that by Mormugao Port Trust to develop breakwater facilities to the west of the existing breakwater. There is significant land reclamation and development planned to transform the port into a successful marine terminal. The consortium of TranSystems and Mir Projects & Consultants has been engaged by the MoPT to evaluate the West of Breakwater site and make specific recommendations as to potential uses, design concept, construction cost and economic viability of the project. It has envisioned this harbor to be an extension of the existing port with several techno – economically feasible possibilities such as:

- Navy, Coast Guard, and Research Vessel Berthing
- Yacht harbor and Small Craft Berthing
- Cruise and Passenger Ferry Terminal
- Expanded Ship Repair and Construction
- Container and General Cargo Terminal
- Dedicated Coal Terminal
- Other Bulk Cargos
Mir Projects and Consultants has also presented the proposal for the feasibility analysis for the development of marina and allied activities at Alappuzha port, on the south coast of Kerala.
